In preparation for Mass Effect 3's release, tomorrow I'm going to begin a brand new playthrough of the original Mass Effect, and the journey of space hero, Jules Shepard will commence! My plan is to keep his story updated in this thread while I play through this, and Mass Effect 2. I'll give the narrative of which decisions Jules makes, how things turn out, who survives, etc.

Now I need to give Jules some character. So far, the only thing I've decided is to romance Ashley. Otherwise I'm open to suggestions on where to go with this.

Jules Shepard

Jules Shepard will develop a personality as I play him. But like I said, I'm open to suggestions.

and with a name like Jules, you know he's going to be a badass.

My suggestion is be almost a bad guy. Like as if he was bad, but knows he needs a universe alive to rule it kind of thing lol

EDIT: but make him generic, like he is proud to be a bad guy kidn of thing.

Kill Wrex. I've never done that and I'm curious as to what kind of effect it has. Feel free to romance Ashley and then leave her to die on that planet too... if that's possible. She kind of deserves it.

If he's going to be badass, I think he needs to take the route of killing as many people as possible as the solution to every problem he comes across.

I think it's boring just because the choice isn't up to you. I haven't decided anything yet, but nothing is out of consideration. Whatever fits the personality that develops.

I'll start this up in a couple hours once I get back to UWM.

Here are some of his basic characteristics so far

- Loyal Alliance solider to the death
- A total hardass, not afraid to simply shoot his way out of situations of tell someone off
- Can trust a good man of any race except for the Krogan. He finds them dangerous, clumsy, and unpredictable. He doesn't trust them.
- Earthborn: Raised on the streets of Earth without his parents, enlisted at 18
- Sent many good men to their deaths on Torfan, but it was necessary. He does anything he has to in order to get the job done.
- He doesn't like groups that try to undermine the Alliance's authority, even if they are human.
