In both Giants SB wins in the 20xx, the Giants had to travel to GB and win in Lambeau, against #1 seeded Packer teams.

Packers were #2 in 07, dallas was 1

Yea...Giants beat them too.

True but the COWBOYS still lead the division for most Super Bowl Apperances and Most Super Bowl Victories.
Giants Rule the NFC EAST for 2011
Cowboys Rule the NFC EAST for all Time!

See, I can post arbitrary junk as well.

Much like last year's champion.

...and last two times, they went into Lambeau in the dead of winter and won. Don't the Packers have a nearly insurmountable W/L record at home in the playoffs? IIRC, Michael Vick was the first QB to ever beat the Packers in Green Bay in the playoffs, and that was in 04/05 or something...

...and the Giants did that...TWICE? Shocked

The first time...well the Packers got Favred.....hard.

The second time........That wasn't the 2011 Packers offense that I watched all season. I don't know what happened, and I don't think it was anything the Giants did to stop them. The drops, the fumbles, the penalties.......They beat us and are the champs but I still think that they were lucky(in the fact the Packers had one of those days).

I know what happened. Like when they got "Favred" in 2007, the Packers received a good, hard "Rodgering" in 2011. Laughing
And after 52 Yrs the vikings still has an empty TROPHY CASE Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

How about I give you my home address instead? That way you can send me a card or something. I know how well I'm liked in the Titans forum. Wink

Well, just goes to show that they can't do well unless they get historically lopsided trades Laughing

The Giants were the best team this year, regardless of record. They dealt with a plethora of injuries though. They finally got healthy at the right time. As a Packers fan, you should understand that. It's what you guys dealt with last year.

Not even close, they got hot at the right time and squeaked by the 49ers. They honestly, did not deserve to be there this year, if not for the BS blown lead by Dallas, they wouldn't even be there.

It's not worthless at all. It's extremely useful for sedating Cowboys fans. Laughing

This is rather silly, you can't take anything away from the Giants regardless if they never were a dynasty or had stretches of mediocrity. The most important thing is how efficient they were with the opportunities they had. Buffalo, Denver and Minny all had stretches of super bowl appearances where they came up short. Save for Denver, either one of those teams would give up all that just for 1 appearance and 1 win.

As for the OP.. if this trend continues does this mean the Giants will lose SB56 and win SB63 and 67? Anxious Mr. Green
