Pick #32... Damn that feels good to say.

I guess I'd like to take an offensive lineman first. Also wouldn't mind DL or LB.

He may go with a DT or DE. Its so hard to say until the combine comes around or free agency really. We also may and dont be shocked.. draft a WR. Mario's up for FA this year.. BPA left in round 1 is it a WR?.. who knows. I think the big 3 on offense with Nicks, Cruz and Manningham.. u take 1 away and it could be dicey. Im not sold yet on Barden and Jernigan has yet to impress me.
Are these two different thoughts? If you think Reese has the Accorsi mindset of never having enough pass rushers, then why would we take Burfict? He's not a pass rusher.

Reese drafts best player available no matter what position. I'm hoping/praying for a janoris Jenkins fall. He might look at burflict and realize he's a top 10. I can see the ravens grabbing him

Cordy is a definite. Opinions on mike Adams??

Cordy would be great value at 32. right tackle of the future who may be able to step in day 1.

I've also seen some pretty wide ranging thoughts, from Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener, to Glenn and even Alfonzo Dennard.

If Konz ends up falling this far (don't think he will with the love that highly regarded centers have gotten in recent years) I would love to grab him.

I'll probably get hated on but I want David Wilson with the 32nd. I think he'll be the BPA. I've stated this in other threads but he's highly athletic, high character guy and team leader who can also contribute on ST's. With BJ most likely gone he gives the Giants a solid #2 RB who is explosive and has great hands out the backfield.

It's going to be an interesting offseason I think. First people most likely have to get the idea of trades and/or big name signings out of their heads. That's not something the Giants usually do.

As for the draft? I don't see why they'd move away from BPA like they always have. I think some of what is going to guide our draft is how we do with our free agents. I think I read that we have 31 free agents? That's... a lot. We're going to lose some of them and more because we just won the Super Bowl. I don't quite understand the love affair people have with Manningham. He was 0/9 on passes over 30 yards before last night. That's...horrible. That's...his job. To stretch the field. Anyway. Don't want to derail the thread too much Razz

After last night our o-line made the pats d-line look good. I think a upgrade at tackle is a must wouldn't mind if we traded up for Mike Adams. Eli needs some protection if we except him to get us back to the Super Bowl next year. Also hope we can steal Bell from Buffalo.

The Giants are going to be LOADED next year. Can't wait for another Reese draft.

im throwing my thoughts in there. burfict i think can be a pass rusher at the next level. i really think in this defence fewell can make use of his mad man mentality. we wanted this with some guy named Clint Sintim but that never happened. and ya sintim may be an OLB made for a 3-4 scheme but at times we were putting him at end. i think burfict is unique and we could use him differently.

the WR thing i just kinda threw that in there for whatever reason. im pretty sure were sticking defence.

Im not that big on scouting rookies, just dont have the time for it. Id say either a o/d linemen would be our best bet.

I think we should sign Weatherford, Manningham. If Osi leaves then I think we should move Kiwi back to DE for another good rotation of Tuck,JPP,Tollefson,Kiwi. Austin will be back and boost the DT's so our DL will just keep moving along.

After those moves let Sintim get the start at LB and lets see what he's got, Fewell says the kid was really improving before the injury so put him in the starting role and lets see whats he got.

As for the draft I know we always got BPA so grabbing TE Allen wouldnt surprise me and would make our offense that much better with an actual threat at TE, but I want us to take a Center since Baas was awful and we dont have a future starter in place.

But FYI I wouldnt mind us building on Petrus game more to have him become a future guard for us and keep booth as our other starter at guard

I think we're picking up a TE, probably in the first 3 rounds or so. We were down to 1 TE by the end of the SuperBowl.

He probably won't fall to 32 but I really want Mike Adams. Dude is big, strong, and great on his feet.

Can a lazy mod ask for a favor? Could we post positions when we post names? I have no idea who any of these guys are. Laughing
