| This gets asked every year but does anyone know when the first draft magazines get put out? Which ones do you guys like the most? |

| PFW's Draft Guide 2012 (or whatever year) comes out in late March. It's about the only one worth reading. Most of the others are way off base- it's comical after the fact of a draft to see how grotesquely wrong they were, overrating some guys, underrating others. Save your money. |

You're more than welcome. I myself like an occasional magazine, even with all the info to be found on the Internet- such as this excellent site. If you want to free-read briefly at a newsstand or something, you can find out who the Giants (or whoever) absolutely will NOT draft by looking at the mock draft in the draft mag put out by The Sporting News- even a major publication like that. The trashier magazines apparently base their player ratings and mock drafts on haphazardly watching college football games on TV, and the names that stick in their minds. They're ludicrous. There is far more valuable insider stuff on these forums.
Pro Football Weekly's Draft Guide is the only one worth the $$$- it's not cheap- and augments the useful information to be had on this site.

| Pro Football Weekly Draft Guide 2012 is available as a digital edition on their website right now. It's $7.99 or $9.99 for print plus digital. Print edition isn't out yet. Lindy's is out 3/6 but mags like that do pop in stores early. I like Lindy's too cause it gives the best team breakdown/2011 review out there. |

| I like picking up them up, just because I am old school. Some are off, just because they have to get them on the shelves and it's hard to predict the draft 8 weeks in advance. PFW is the best like other posters have already said. ESPN use to have a draft guide like two weeks before the draft and I don't think they do anymore. |

I buy them all every year for the bathroom.
Pro Football Weekly is by far the best.
I save them, too.
Going back and reading old stuff is pretty funny. |
