Resign (Lions 19 million under the cap)
Stephen Tulloch 3 years 10.5 million- 3.5 M per year
Sammie Lee Hill 3 years 4.5 million YR1- 1 M YR2- 1.5 M YR3- 2 M
Jeff Backus- 2 years 2 million- 1 M per year
Bobby Carpenter- 2 years 2 million- 1 M per year
Eric Wright- 1 year 1 M
Chris Harris- 2 years 3 M- 1.5 per year
9 M spent

Extend
Calvin Johnson 5 years 85 million 50 million guaranteed- 17 M per year (Saves 3 million from this year)
6 M spent

Franchise
Cliff Avril

Trade
Corey Williams to Cincinnati for 5th round pick- Cincinnati needs an interior lineman.
Cliff Avril to New York Jets for 2nd round pick- New York may have excellent corners, but has a very weak pass rush.
-Saves 3.5 million (Corey Williams salary is 5 million, but 1.5 of that is bonus money which we would pay)
2.5 M spent

Sign
Jason Jones DE/DT Tennessee- 2 years 4 M- 2 million per year
-Fills up the vacancies that Avril and Williams left, to an extent.

Demetrius Bell OT Buffalo- 4 years 20 million 10M guaranteed- 5 M per year
-Replaces Backus as the starter.

Cortland Finnegan CB Tennessee- 3 years 12 M- 4 M per year
-Schwartz hits up the Tennessee connection again and lands a legitimate starting corner.

Cedric Benson 1 year 1.5 M
-Comes cheap, not a high demand for RB's.

15 M spent

Draft
1- Peter Konz C Wisconsin- The best center in a draft class that has plenty of offensive lineman. Opened holes for Heisman trophy candidate Montee Ball.

*TRADE* Detroit trades 2nd RD pick (57), 3rd RD pick and Cincinnati 5th RD pick to San Francisco for #30 and 6th RD pick.

1- Mark Barron S Alabama- A hard hitting safety with above average coverage skills. Played very well, and was an anchor to the #1 defense in college football.

2- Vinny Curry DE Marshall- With Cliff being too expensive to keep around the Lions take a shot on his replacement. Curry is an explosive lineman with an unstoppable motor who will get to the QB no matter what it takes. Solid Senior Bowl.

*TRADE* Detroit Trades 4th and 5th Round pick to Dallas for 3rd Round pick
3- LaMichael James HB Oregon- Fills Bests role, No concussion history.

6- Adrien Cole ILB Louisiana Tech- Big linebacker with decent speed. Was the WAC Defensive player of the year.

7- Derek Moye WR Penn State- 6-5 and a decent receiver. Had a very quiet senior season.

4 starter RB.
Why?

Only 2 backup LB.

I like the signings.

I like some of the draft; Barron was solid in coverage in college, but will be a liability in the NFL, IMO, and isnt worth a 1st to me, nor is he a good fit for us. I would love to get Curry there, but doubt he makes it. I like the Konz pick, and okay with James in the 3rd.

Pretty good overall.

IDK. Really looks like you low-balled all of your signings.

Gotta pay the cost, to be the boss.

I'm gonna piggy back these guys but it was a pretty good mock other than that. I liked most of the players, not Benson, but I understand why you signed him.
