I feel I'm the only one mentioning Marino over Peyton.

Do people not understand that Marino had worse offenses surrounding him and next to nothing on defense? Do people not understand near every great QB has had better talent to work with? Do people not understand Peyton Manning was gifted a much better hand?

Help me out here Dolphins fans.

It would be said we are biased on this subject, but you are correct (I would never take anything away from Manning, Brees, Farve, etc.) But yea the QB's of the 80's and 90's had alot tougher, as CB's had alot more room to make contact with the WR's. Marino had a bad line, No real running back, and his WR's were good at best, Marino got more done with less. IMO the Best QB's of all time (in no order but top 5)

Joe Montana
Dan Marino
Johnny Unitas
Peyton Manning
Bret Farve

Marino had a bad line? Must have been that year he was sacked 6 times in 16 games...

While the line wasn't terrible Marino made them look exponentially better. He has probably the best pocket presence of all time and was exceptionally good at avoiding the rush through maneuvers within the pocket.

He had an elite Center and an elite LT at different times.

His line was hardly Top 10 in the league though, maybe fringe.

Agree, did you all watch any of his games, and how he moved around in the pocket? He was a play maker, shock I know, but he moved around alot in the pocket he just didnt flush out like alot of QB's do now a days. So yes I still say Marino's line was terrible or at best average on the low end of average heading toward terrible.

Last Frank dont look at Sacks, Marino was great at getting rid of the ball, go look and find the stats where he was knocked down, had to throw it away because some big DE was in his face, last go back and look at how many times he was creamed and still made the play aka got the ball to his recievers even though someone missed a block assignment.
