Melvin Ingram is another interesting defensive end.

He's lined up at LDE, RDE, DT and even linebacker this year.

He even has a rushing touchdown.

Ingram is going to be a 3-4 OLB...he's too athletic I'm sure some 3-4 team will take a flyer on him:

Miami (if they don't go up for a QB)
Buf
KC
AZ
Dal

I could see these teams trading up.
NYJ
SD

And I'm sure he could play 4-3 DE for several teams b4 us
Clev
Jax
Car
Sea

Definitely a top 15 prospect IMO

That was my official thought, with him looking impressive in space.

I could see him being drafted by the Patriots, they seem to like the bigger outside linebackers.

On the Packers board we're in the middle of a long discussion on Ingram.

We don't have anybody impressed with him in coverage.

We're all impressed with him against the run, holding the edge.

We're still trying to hash out the pass rushing skills.

I like Ingram too. If Spags is the new coordinator and Washburn is gone I hope we leave the draft with either Couples, Mercilus or Ingram. I actually want one of the 3 either way.

Where does everyone see Jerel Worthy fitting in the NFL, in particular in the 40 front. Is he a 1 tech or a 3 tech?

Think

I like Curry more than all those guys. Either way, do not want a DE in the first 2 rounds.

Yes without a doubt we'd certainly receive some sort of compensation. However compensation isn't awarded until the following years draft. So we'd receive compensation for him in the 2013 draft. We won't get anything for compensation this year with the spending spree we went on last off season.

If Spags doesn't like the wide 9, we're going to need a new left defensive end.
