I'm personally on the Coples bandwagon. I think he would be perfect, i'm pretty sure this draft is rather loaded at WR, I think we could find a very solid WR in the 2nd, as well as FA I expect us to be in on a very nice WR. Coples is a very good DE that has great potential, we could use a guy like him. I know our offense needs a lot of work, but man, i love his talent, and he should definitely be there at 7.
de is deeper and coples is strictly a le or ut which we have no.need at either

DE is not deeper.
drpends on wat kind of end ur looking for but i can fibd a le in the 5th round or later in this draft.

You can "fibd" a lot of players in the 5th round or later.

WR is really deep this year.

Besides, how deep a position is in the draft should be one of the last factors to consider when selecting a player.

i think he is counting 3-4 OLBs as DE options for us calling it deep

Ive watching Coples these past couple years and i definitely wouldn't mind seeing him on the Jags, i dont know, thats just me. What's all of your opinions on what he ends up being? In most mocks i have seen him as a name that we would take, Blackmon was the other main name, but thats was when we were top 4.

I liked him a lot before the season. But, he played undisciplined this year and doesn't have that great of a motor. He has all the tools though so i'm not sure. Risky pick that I probably wouldn't use in the top 10.

Vinny Curry and Chandler Jones would be better value in the 2nd or third.

How opposed would everyone be to the idea of drafting RG3 with our first pick and then picking up Kendall wright with a later pick?

No opposition at all, but I would much rather trade back, then draft Ashlon and use the other picks to get a few decent guys.

RG3 will be gone come 7th pick, & Kendall Wright will be gone before are 2nd pick. i look for the Browns to.do that considering they got 4th & wherever the Falcons finish. so they have a legit shot to keep Wright & Griffin together
crazier things have happened brah. like Mallett in the 3rd

Oh I understand where your comin from, but i.dont see The Skins or Browns passin.up RG3 & if they did i dont think we would take him. We got to give Gabbert one.more year

Don't know, there are rumblings the Redskins have already fallen in love with Flynn.
i smell a Matt Cassell kind of deal to be done

Yea, Flynn has Redskins' overpay job written all over him.

My thoughts exactly, Matt Flynn is Kevin Kolb version 2.0

Yeah, nothing says Kevin Kolb like the 62% completion percentage and 93 QB rating he's boasting in his career right? 11:14 INT:TD ratio right? Flynn has proven way for than Kolb ever did in Phili.

Matt Flynn has started 2 games, both of those games were against horrid past defences... all i'm saying is the guy is overrated, if you don't believe me wait and see next year when he flops!

If Claiborne or Blackmon arent there, im confident we will get one of Jeffery, Coples, Richardson, Floyd or Reiff at 7.

I pretty seriously doubt Floyd will be on Gene's board. A top 10 pick is a huge risk to take on a guy who can't seem to muster the maturity of a kid. The guy will be an R.J. Soward Clone. All the talent in the world can't do you any good if you're too immature to handle yourself. His issues will get exponentially worse with a nice top 10 contract.

Floyd has been good for a while now iirc, but the other guys arent bad options either

Like my new sig shows, im definitely on the Coples bandwagon. He has some great ability, definitely the ideal guy at #7 in my opinion, and we desperately need a guy like him at DE. There is plenty of nice WR's in the 2nd, and there is some good FA WR's, VJax wont get tagged from the Chargers from what i hear.

I just dont see Coples as a 10 sack a year guy, which is what you'd expect when you draft an end that high

I read somewhere that he seemed to.play conservatively and I agree with that opinion.
