How can anyone not love Calvin Johnson? He has never been anything but a class act. How many elite WRs act as classy as CJ does? | I clearly said CJ didn't deserve it.
With what Schwartz did to Antonio Gates though he needs his HOF receiver to battle injuries caused in a meeting with the Chargers through the playoffs and the rest of his career. |
I thought you meant he didn't deserve the type of season he's having so he should be injured. Oops.

You shouldn't want that to happen. Rivers is tougher than Suh. Plus he's got God on his side. |
I'll go ahead and leave this one alone so I don't discuss what Webby doesn't like being discussed. _________________

But wait... he was the "aggressive" coordinator who was going to take this defense over the hump, I thought?
The only thing aggressive about his scheme is how aggressively it gives up yardage.
BTW, whatever Lions fans were booing an injured man coming off the field can go play in traffic for all I care. _________________

There are pacifists out there that are far more aggressive. _________________

Vincent Jackson is such a greasy bum sometimes.
I don't care about that groin injury, catch that goddamn ball, you're a professional. _________________ Legends Never Die. They Breathe Through The New Generation.

Much as he has become Rivers' safety blanket over the periods when Gates has missed time for injury, he still body-catches way more than I'd like. He can high-point a ball just fine, but ask him to square up to an oncoming pass on a hitch, comeback, or stop-route and at least 70% of the time he lets the ball come in to his body to make the catch. I was always disappointed Charlie Joiner couldn't break him of that. _________________

David?
Anyway that's game and it serves Norv right for never giving Mathews any goal line carries. Our big wide receivers just can't get separation in the end zone. |

Throw a super bouncy ball off a backboard and make them run straight at it and get down before they hit it. _________________

He has been holding his own all afternoon. Probably thinking of Suh. _________________

| So do we want to beat the Raiders next week? I'm one of the few Charger fans that hates the obnoxious Donkeys even more than the Raiders, plus it will seal Norv's fate if we lose. I hate to be that guy, but I think finishing 7-9 is the best way to go. |
