| Quote: | A league source expressed skepticism to ESPN Florida that Blaine Gabbert has what it takes to make it in the pros.
"The guy sees ghosts in the pocket," said the source. "I'm not sure if you can teach courage." ESPN Florida's Charlie Bernstein believes it's a "real possibility" that the Jaguars might quickly cut their losses with Gabbert and drafted a first-round quarterback for a second straight year. Added Greg Cosell of NFL Films recently, "I will say unequivocally that (Gabbert) will not make it in this league as a starting NFL quarterback." |
God I hope they don't give up on him this quick. _________________

Anyone with a brain could have seen this a mile coming with Blaine. Hopefully the Jags keep him, like you said, because that will just keep pushing them back and back and back in their rebuilding process. _________________

I was terrified we'd draft him. When we didn't, I screamed in happiness. When the Jags drafted him, I just laughed and praised the football gods. If they get Matt Barkley though, they may have the last laugh. _________________

If they got Barkley I would cry. Like literally... Dude is going to be awesome and I'm a die hard USC fan...
Hopefully they stick with him for one more year. _________________

Texan fans make me laugh. I understand their excitement, but whats it matter when your team won't do crap in the playoffs. Your still a loser like the rest of the league. And you'll be back to complaining about the things your missing and whatnot.
Edit. I'm not trying to poke fun at anyone, just giving my perspective. _________________

Wouldn't say it's a given, aside from one year he's been pretty damn healthy. _________________

Why the bleep did Jacksonville get 3 primetime games this year? When the schedules came out who really thought that Jags an Falcons would be the game everyone wanted to see? Ravens vs Chargers Pats vs Broncos 49ers vs Steelers Jets vs Philly Skins vs Giants Panthers vs Texans your telling me none of those games were a better choice than the Jags an Falcons???? _________________
