Game of the week/other ideas?

There's going to be a lot less activity in this forum without the NBA, so we might as well focus more attention on the NCAA.

How would you guys feel about having a thread for the most anticipated nationally televised game each week? We would hold a vote each week, and have a poll on the game thread about what we want the next week. Kinda like the CFB forum does the BCS spotlight game.

It would be especially silly to keep all of the CBB talk in one thread if the NBA isn't going to be playing.

Oh, and any other ideas for boosting forum activity, post 'em here.

Game of the week is a good idea. The CFB forum does it, so I think it'd be a good idea.

What's the game of the week next week?

This week was either the Duke-MSU game or Kentcuky-Kansas game.

Maybe a thread for each (major) conference could help as well as game of the week. Then, there could be a year long Big Monday game thread or like a team of the week thread.

Honestly, I'm more likely to post in the basketball forum now that there is no NBA. Laughing

Should be threads for each tournament that is coming up. Maui, B1G/ACC Challenge, Coaches v Cancer, etc.. They are all coming up soon.

All good ideas, to go along with the team threads. BTW, if your team isn't in the directory, post it in that thread.

Conference game of the week is a good idea too, as long as we keep it to the major conferences.
