He, like several others on our board, is an Iowa fan. Several of our posters either attended Iowa previously or are students there now.

I, like Superman, am an Iowa homer. I think every Iowa player is the next great one.

Yeah I'm really looking forward to the rivalry. Nebraska fans really haven't had a great rivarly for a while. Oklahoma use to be. Missouri was starting to become a good one.
I respect the heck out of the Iowa program. Ferentz is a very good coach. Must be nice not to have to worry about your offensive line.
How do you guys see your season playing out? |

Yeah I love Captain Kirk, he's a great coach.
The team is very young an inexperienced pretty much across the board (QB, RB, DL, OL, S) save for a few returning players (McNutt, Rieff, etc.). There will probably be some growing pains to begin the year (conference play especially), but I think they will do real well once they get in a rhythm.

I'm heading down to Champaign this weekend to watch my Sun Devils take on the Illini. Pretty pumped about it too. My seats are great - I'm on the 35-yard line about 15 rows up from the field.

Anyone here live in Oahu, Hawaii? I am heading that way in July/August for 3 to 6 years. Looking for some Bears fans to hang with on Sunday's........

Let me know how the trip goes when you get back man. I got a few friends there through the military and I am getting the earfull on things to do. Any additional advice would be helpful!

Will do. Based on what I usually do on vacations, I'll probably scour almost all of Hawaii, so I should be able to fill you in on quite a bit. |

Wow! I think this is my first time checking this thread and I did not know there were so many Iowa homers. I, am a Fighting ILLINI fan.
Btw AZ, I know this is a little late but I was at that game. Great game. I remember after seeing that and thinking to myself.. Wow... I think we have a 9 or 10 win team here.
I was wrong.
