I was thinking draw as well, but Wolves will be full of confidence from their convincing opening day win, and as you played on thursday...they may catch you cold....may...im still going for Draw though
1-1 | I'm thinking 1-1 as well. We rested a few of guys so hopefully their energy can make up for some of the other guys if they have tired legs. I could see us losing a lot more easily than us winning however. _________________

Great win. We dominated much of the game to be honest and it could have been 3 or 4. Henry played great in the middle and Roger Johnson is a great captain/leader and defender.
Match ratings:
Wayne Hennessey 7
Only had one save to make but was commanding from corners. His kicking was off today which is rare but a good solid clean sheet.
Richard Stearman 7
Solid today at right-back. Not a fan of him and Foley is the better player but his pace is helpful at times.
Roger Johnson 8.5
Won everything in the air and completely pocketed Johnson. Distribution is alot better than advertised and a great header/assist for Jarvo's goal.
Christophe Berra 7
Some great strong tackles and eat up Fulham's long ball. Distribution terrible though. Touch of a mountain goat.
Stephen Ward 8
Great performance. Kept Duff/Dempsey quiet for most of the game and a threat going forward.
Matt Jarvis 7.5
Not as good as last week, but still gave Hughes a headache or two. Much better when he played on the right though against Riise who showed his age.
Karl Henry 9 MOTM
Dominated Murphy in the midfield battle (better to do your talking on the pitch you has been) kept possession well and played some lovely balls forward. Marked the dangerous Dembele when he came on (why doesn't he start?).
Jamie O'Hara 8
Lovely crisp passes and nearly scored with two or three great long range pings. Just calm and helps us retain the ball nicely. Abit anonymous first 30 mins.
Stephen Hunt 7.5
Battled hard, fought everything (was about to kill Sidwell at one stage until Dean jumped in) and spots a nice pass. Great that he can come in and be almost a 3rd CM to protect a lead. Pitbull
Kevin Doyle 8
Greatly taken goal, battled against the class act Hangerlaand and the terrible Senderos. Won his fair share in the air. Should have scored a virtual open goal earlier.
Steven Fletcher 8
Great performance, got up so well and won most of the aerial challenges. Nearly scored with a brilliant effort outside the box and lovely link up play. Starting to form a great partnership with Doyle.
Comments on Fulham:
Good for first 30 mins but after that faded (fatigue?). Dembele should start, very dangerous. Senderos is an appalling player. Schwatzer is such an underrated keeper. Top player. _________________

It's even better to see them playing well against the "middle of the pack" type teams. Last year they seemed to struggle in games like this and last weeks win @ Blackburn Rovers.
Hopefully these points help propel them away from that "relegation" fight later in the year and more towards, hell, maybe fight for a European spot? Or at least Top 10-12. _________________

Quote of the day potential from Sir Michael :

Fantastic performance from your boys jmay. You were better than us in every area of the pitch. We were outworked and out class. Your midfield didn't give us a second on the ball and it resulted in just kicking balls up to Johnson who didn't stand a chance. Doyle and Fletcher were great as well they chased everything down and harassed our defenders constantly. If Schwarzer wasn't on his game you guys could(and should) have had four goals.
Without Zamora we looked worthless in attack. Murphy didn't have any time on the ball in midfield and no one could pull the strings. Etuhu was awful when he was on, I don't know if he completed a single pass to a teamate. How Senderos is in the starting XI is absolutely baffling. Hughes and Hangeland is a great partnership and they compliment each other perfectly. I don't know why you would break that up. Moving Hughes to right back is stupid as well, he never got forward and Duff was alone on the right wing the entire match. I don't understand what Jol has against Baird, he is a pretty decent right back. All in all though you guys bossed us around and after the first 10 minutes or so you were the only side that looked like winning. Well done. _________________

Yeah I was shocked Aaron Hughes wasn't at CB, him and big Brede are solid as it gets. Senderos was one of the worst footballers (in terms of technique) I've seen in the Premier League.
Whats the crack with Dembele? Every time I've seen him (live or on TV) he looks really sharp and a threat. Much better than Johnson/Dempsey. _________________

His biggest problem is lack of an end product. Still I think he is too dangeous to bench. Another problem with him is we don't really no where to play him. Is he a winger, is he a forward, should he play in the hole, it's anybody's guess. His ability to dribble past defenders and create space is something this team severly lacks. Dempsey is a better scorer but when he "dribbles at defenders" he just ends up dribbling into three defenders and either losing the ball or just turning away from them and dumping the ball off. Dembele is something unique in the team.
And I agree with you on Senderos. He isn't quick, he isn't good in the air, he isn't a great marker, and he can't pass out of the back. There is no reason for him in the squad. We started Hughes and Hangeland on Thursday in the EL and we never looked under pressure, they stopped every attack in it's tracks.
I've been really impressed with Wolves though. If they can keep that level of work rate up they will be hard to beat. I think they need a proper right back but that is just me. If they can stay healthy I think they will be well away from the relegation fight, you guys have a pretty talented squad and when partnered with the amount of work they put in it is pretty effective. Oh and as you said Henry was an absolute monster in midfield. He and O'Hara made us try and bypass the midfield the entire match. _________________

Yeah his position is abit of enigma for you, i agree there. I'm not sure even he actually knows where he plays best because he sort of played just off the striker today but not properly in the hole.
Yeah i think we have a right back of good quality (arguably two because i rate Zubar) in Foley who is just 7/10 consistent but Mick insists on playing Stearman. Foley was our fans player of the season at RB when we won the league in 08 despite Ebanks-Blake scoring 26 goals - tells you how good he was. I still want to replace Berra who worries me at times with his grappling and painful distribution. I am fairly confident we can stay up though. So far think we look alot better than Wigan and Blackburn. Wigan have played Norwich and Swansea and have two points. Worrying signs for them IMO. _________________

Yeah sod fighting a pikey.
We used to have them park up in the huge park we had behind our house (until the council put bollards up) and they were tough cookies. _________________
