Rivals League Discussion Thread (PackFan is the Champ)

Normally I like being in 2 leagues a year, and this league would make it two. Smile

But this league's draft will be live on ESPN, and it will be sometime in August. I'd prefer for my second league's draft to be done in these forums as well, but I don't want to be running two leagues like that. If somebody else would like to run one like that, than that would be perfect. If not than I'll just do the live draft.

Since the draft is going to be live on ESPN I'm not too worried about having a high PPD. The reason why I wanted people with high PPDs in my other league is because the draft is being done in these forums, and normally the guys with the lower PPD slow the draft down.

Thanks to Pack Fan he's going to help me run this league, and now we're going to have the draft in these forums.

If you were NOT in my league last year Please, Please, Please Read This Entire Thing.

The draft will most likely take 3-4 weeks to complete, last year it took exactly 20 days. But if you cannot commit to that than please let me know so I can give your spot to somebody else.

How the Draft Will Work
Once all 10 spots are filled Pack Fan will create another thread titled “Footballs Future Elite League Draft Thread (AP is OTC)” that will be for the draft picks only, and this thread will turn into the discussion thread. If you know that your pick is coming up and you won’t be able to make it than just pm me or Pack Fan with your big board, and we'll give you the best player available on your board. If you don’t pm us your big board and the time runs out on the clock than we'll just give the BPA according to ESPN's Top 300 PPR Rankings.

ESPN's Top 300 PPR Rankings

If somebody misses their pick 2-3 consecutive times without letting either one of us know and if we don’t hear anything from that person than they will be replaced. You can miss five consecutive picks in a row just as long as you let us know what’s going on ahead of time.

For example if your pick is coming up but you’re going to be at a Laker game than just pm me with your big board. If you miss one pick without pming us don’t worry about it, it’s not a big deal. I just don’t want 2,3,4, or 5 in a row like that.

But I'm pretty nice about autopicking for people. If somebody takes a RB with their first 3 picks and I need to autopick for their next pick (I'm not going to give them another RB if that's the BPA. I'll give them either a QB or WR depending on who the BPA is.

When You’re on the Clock
You will get 12 hours to make your pick, but if your OTC between 2:00am EST and 10:00am EST than your time does not start until 10:01am, but you can still make your picks between those dead hours if you like. So for example if I'm OTC at 11:00pm EST the clock won’t expire until 7:00pm EST because of the 8 dead hours.

When You're Done Making Your Pick Please pm Whoever's Next OTC.

I can't stress this enough, it will really slow the draft down if you don't pm whoever's next OTC. When you're done making your pick please send a pm titled "Your OTC" to whoever's next OTC.

Because like I mentioned in the OP, I'd prefer to do the drat in these forums, but I don't want to run two leagues with those kind of drafts. If somebody else would like to run one than that would be perfect.
