| Does any one have any ideas why we didnt give a 4th rounder to GB for Najeh Davenport...6'1, 250, speed to go the distance....this would have enabled us to use the #2 on a WR, or poss. trade down and still have a great back... |

| Gordons pretty similar to Davenport-we have enough 24-27 year old former 3rd and 4th round picks who could be stars-but if we dont go RB round 1, id do it... |

Last year, during the season, as the Dolphins scambled to solve their runningback situation, Davenports name was tossed around as a potential canidate for trade. Davenport made it abundantly clear that he didnt wish to play in Miami. Remember that this was at a time when Ahman Green was entrenched in the spot ahead of Davenport and Travis Minor was his greatest competition in Miami. In other words even with a starting spot virtually being handed to him in Miami, he was not interested.
My feeling is he enjoys life in GB and/or is happy with his role as a back up for the time being. Either way the idea of bringing in Davenport doesn't appeal to me. He didn't want to play for us and the last thing we need is a guy that wishes he was elsewhere. _________________ "22 players are involved in every football play. Davenport is a solid, bruising RB who alot of teams passed over in the draft because of injuries. That's how Green Bay was able to land him.
He was on the table for trade, but once again, he had shoulder injuries, which turned alot of teams away. |

I'd like to see him as a starter period. Runs like the Bus but faster, maybe not as hard but he is fast for his size. _________________ POINT PROVEN!!!! |

I luv the U but we did offer him the job to start right away but he wanted to stay in geeenbay. A. Green has been hurt as of late he knows the system there. We need players that are hungry and want to play thats why we have all these one year contracts these guys are playin for there contracts and bonus PLUS Greenbay just resigned him last week _________________ ''THE TRUDONDADAH AH RUN TINGS'' |
