I read today on Raidernews.com (July 5th's links), that Junior Seau has talked to the Raiders about signing. He is also contemplating retirement. I think it could be a great signing. Not so much for his playing, but he could teach Howard, Bing & Williams alot in a mentor role. Thoughts?

I read something like that awhile back, but I can't remember where it was, for the life of me. I wouldn't *mind* it if we signed him to help tutor our young players but, in the end, I imagine we'll take a pass, he'll sign a one day contract with San Diego and retire.

I'd like to see him sign with us, but I got to believe that he would act much like Rice did when he wasn't getting the ball and we were going to the younger WRs. Plus if he signs hes only going to take reps away from someone else. He would be a great mentor though.

I would take Seau in a heartbeat. At worst, he sees a little time and helps guide our young guys like Thomas and Morrison even more.

I'd absolutely love to have him, he's a Cali guy and we all know Nor Cal is better than So Cal so what better place to go than Oakland!
