Congrats too...NORTH CAROLINA!!!
Both teams played a tough game, Shawn May having a great day and Illinois fighting back. But, North Carolina ourmucled them....And what a play there at the end, who was it that snagged that rebound? |

Illinois had 3 players beyond the 3pt line the entire 2nd half passing the ball to each other for like 20 secs and taking a 3 at the end of the shot clock. Thats how they got back in the game, and thats how they lost the game. Live and die by the 3.

NC didn't win...Illinois gave them the victory.
The refs sucked and I hope NC enjoys the paid victory. |

I'm so pissed too...I really though Illinois had a legit shot at the title but it didnt work out that way, I guess UNC wanted it more...

| It would've been a much better game if May hadn't been given the "Shaq treatment" by the refs. By Shaq treatment, i mean allowed to take 2 or 3 steps without dribbling and have fouls called everytime someone thought about touching him. |

1. Illinois fan?
2. Lost big $$ in your pool to someone with UNC?

Let's not do this. It was a great game and the team that played better won. I agree the refs weren't the best ever (You could see Illinois holding and setting mooving picks long before the commentator started shouting about it), but that's basketball. The better team on the night won. Illinois had a costly late turnover and couldn't hit the 3 when it counted most. That's what costed them the game--not the refs.
Congratulations to the national champion North Carolina Tar Heels.

So did I. It was a pretty easy pick, I think. I hate to pick the favorites, but they both got there--so I can't complain.

North Carolina saved my bracket. I just want to thank Syracuse, Wake Forest, and Oklahoma State for screwing up the rest of it. Way to go guys. Way to f'n go.

I'm a fan of any Illinois team because I'm from Illinois.
I didn't lose any money...because it's illegal to gamble. 
But those refs owe me....if I were to have bet....about 2,700$.
But I didn't bet....so it's okay. |
