I want to do a mock draft and would like input from each teamís forum so I can understand what your needs are. Please give good reasons for the picks you make and list the positions you need in order of most important. Thanks.

No disrespect, but I think the best part of making a mock draft is to analyze each team's needs and to predict what their selections will be. As far as the Redskins are concerned... they are looking to add depth at the cornberback position, as well as middle linebacker. There's a need to add a pass rush specialist, in the form of a defensive end. The Redskins need to add a redzone threat to their receiving corp... a tall, and physical receiver. I don't think this is as big of a need as many do. I believe that Darnerien McCants will suffice for the time being. I'm a firm believer in his abilities. It's a long stretch but the Redskins could even add depth to the guard position but that probably won't happen until the late rounds.

I can understand what you mean about predicting picks. The reason I am asking forums about who they might pick is because chances are, those are the people who know a little more than the mainstream. Thanks for the feedback.

To S. Taylor's point, you could look through this forum and find that info yourself very easily, instead of making us repeat it for the umpteenth time.

Anyway, I agree with what S. Taylor said, but would add a blocking TE and depth at the other Def. Line positions. I also put the pass rusher at the top of the list only behind Mike Williams.

Most true fans are respectful to those who are asking about the draft. You know more than I do about the skins, so why not ask? I'm a Bengals fan, and I hate Baltimore, but at least the people in that forum are classy about what they have to say.

I don't think it shows a lack of class to point out that you could do the research for your mock draft. There are a lot of threads in here already, and S. Taylor was just telling you what made doing his mocks more enjoyable for him.

Yeah... as I stated, I meant no disrespect. I just enjoy buying draft guides, reading up on the prospects and watching college tapes of the prospects. From there... I look at the team whose draft selection I'm trying to predict, figure out what position they need to fill most, and what type of player they could use. I'm trying to get into this year, more than ever, but it's tough because I missed most of last year's NCAA season, as well as the majority of the NFL games, due to work and school.

I completely forgot about the Redskins need to add a blocker at TE. I think a pash rusher would be a very wise pick. I can't remember the last good defensive lineman that the Redskins drafted...

With that said, I do place their need at DE over anything else, unless they can get Mike Williams, for the fact that players like Mike Williams, don't come around very often. I still see the Redskins going after a cornerback. The Redskins are somewhat predictable. Last year, for months before the draft, all I heard was the Redskins' interest in Mike Williams, Kellen Winslow and Sean Taylor... after Williams was declared ineligible, it was between Winslow and Taylor. I figured, with Gibbs' drafting strategy, in going for defense over offense in the early rounds, Sean Taylor would fall to the Redskins.

This year it's a little harder to figure out. Gibbs' is saying that he's comfortable at both the cornerback and wide receiver positions, so he may suprise me and draft a DE or trade down and draft a DE, late in the first round and possibly get a cornerback in the second round. One thing that I can say about the Redskins is that their coaching staff is all about pride and believing in individuals. I believe that they really push the players to get the best out of them. The emergence of Antonio Pierce is a prime example. I am very comfortable with the Redskins coaching and I put my trust in them to the point that I know they'll make good moves for the team in this offseason.
