Green Bay signs
Anthony Simmons-LB (Projected)
Adrian Klemm-OL(Actual)
Matt O'Dwyer-OL (Actual)

Revised After Pro Day Draft:

Let me know what you think.

Green bay trades down with the eagles and gets their pick and the eagles gets green bays pick. Green bay gets another 2nd round pick #35, and a 4th round pick#110.

Chicago signs davenport and we get a 5th round pick for him. Green bay trades both of their 2nd round picks since they got another from the eagles to the chiefs for their 1st round pick.

1.(15) Erasmus James-DE-Wisconsin: 6'4-265-4.75: Adds a boost to the pass rush from the other side and they get the 1-2 punch they've been lacking. Should team up with kabeer and the whole dline should make more plays because of the consistant pass rush.

1.(31) Kevin Everett-OLB-Tennessee: 6'3-235-4.62: The missing piece is filled with their linebacking corps. If green bay gets Anthony simmons then Everett could back him up or they could have a competition for the starters job. Either way they'll have playmakers and depth. He's solid against the run and good in coverage.

2.(35) Brodney Pool-S-Oklahoma:6'3-215-4.55: Ballhawking safety which green bay needs. He's a solid tackler whos is good in coverage and very good in run support. Bates is a happy coordinator as the pieces keeps coming together for the defense.

3.(89) Kyle Orton-QB-Purdue:6'4-226-4.90: Ted Thompson finally drafts a quarterback that can start when favre retires. He should easily beat out O'Sullivan and be the third string quarterback and then he can move up to second string halfway through the season. Orton doesnt throw many interceptions and he has a very strong arm and he knows how to read a defense. His main problem is he locks onto a wide receiver and he needs to work on center exchanges. Besides that he has everything you want in a quarterback. He's a leader and a competitor and is respected by his teammates.

3. Green bay trades a 4th #110 and 5th #131 to oakland for their 3rd round pick#69:
Josh Bullocks-S-Nebraska: 6'0-210-4.49: Thompson trades an extra 4th and 5th that he got for davenport to draft bullocks. He's like Pool in how he plays.A ballhawker who is very good in coverage and good against the run. Roman should easily be beaten out.

4.(119) Dan Buenning-G-Wisconsin: Thompson addresses the oline for they need more depth. They draft the local boy and green bay usually picks good oline guys such as flannigan, riveria, wahle, etc. They get another one here.

5.(134) James Boomer Grisby:5'11-245: Green bay needs more solid backups now that marshall is gone. They get one in grisby who is a force against the run and a tackling machine. Green bay should have a solid linebacking corps.
if hes not here they could go dt with joseph jefferson.

6. (165) Maurice Clarett-RB-Ohio State: 5'11-235-4.60: After trading davenport they need a backup for green and while Clarett hasnt
played in more than 2 years hes a big back like davenport and if he can get his act together then he could be a good back and a steal. He's a boom bust type of guy.

7. (215) Taylor Stubbifield-WR-Purdue: Adds depth.

The linebacker from tennessee' s name is kevin burnett but is a good pick, Green Bay also doesn't have a 7th rounder we traded it to Kansas City a few years ago. Overall pretty good mock.
