Got this from another message board. I like the Smith signing. It's hard to see Ambrose go, he's a local who gave his all.

What a great signing!! Smith is the kind of back-up we needed. Looks like we just filled another need(draft day need).
I didn't see the Ambrose release coming...... looks like Loomis might have played his cards early. I think it is obvious that we are wanting a 1st round CB that will start, or a possible trade for a starting CB. I would give anything to get another Mckenzie type CB. Forget Dallas, we need to shop Howard for a good CB and picks for 2006.
