Ravens Fan Background: I'm a Lions fan, but because I'm a Lions fan I'm allowed to have "other" teams to pull for (you know, rooting for the playoffs instead of draft position).

As a life-long 'Cane fan, how could I not like any team with Ed Reed and Ray Lewis? Also, I also grew up in the Islands, so I've been following Haloti Ngata for years and my dad went to Rutgers (Ray Rice). I like the hard-nose defensive approach, when you play the Ravens, you better bring - because Ray & co. are coming for you. I also have to respect the way the front office operates, and the way they draft. A lot of the players I like in college (Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Willis McGahee, Haloti Ngata, Ray Rice) get drafted by the Ravens.

Visually, I like the logo and the uniforms. I also have a profound respect for the city's historical importance...and obviously 'The Wire'. I also pull for New England, but it is doubtful that I will still follow them once Brady/Belichick move on. However, the Ravens will likely always be a team I support.

Ravens Fan Background: Didn't really watch much football until 96 when the Ravens first arrived. Loved every bit of the smash mouth style they play that spawned from Ray Lewis. Ravens Fan Background: Started following NFL seriously in 2008 when it became available on Free-to-Air TV here in Australia. Picked the Ravens as my team as they were a fairly new franchise (having been around for only 12 years at the time), won the Superbowl soon after my Australian Rules Football team won the championship here, are a well run team and are built on defense with star defensive players like Ed Reed and Ray Lewis.
