I don't know what is wrong with my Saints this year. Right now we are playing at best like a 9-7 team. Before the Browns game, I figured we had a shot against Pitts. Now, I am praying we don't get creamed again. Our defense has really been playing well considering the secondary injuries we have, but our offense is generating noting. It almost seems like that tampa bay 33-6 win was a fluke. It sucks losing hope. We have time to get our acts together, but it's hard to see it happening with all the problems. Drew Brees is terribly off so far this season, the run game has been poo poo without Bush and Thomas, we need something. I hate being the downer fan, but I don't see a win barring a miracle performance.
24-17 Steelers victory over my Who Dats
I'll never stop cheering for my boys...but right now it's hard. Maybe I've been spoiled by seeing a Top 5 Offense for the last 4 seasons, but this is rough to watch. _________________

| Most often it is tough to beat a good team which has just suffered a humiliating loss. Plus Bush appears to be ready for this game, which will give the Saints a big boost. For those reasons I voted for the Steelers to win by 1 point. We need Adams and Wood back, and I hope that Hoke can get some major minutes as Hood gains some needed momentum. Clark and BMac need to step up, or Brees may snap out of his slump and pick us apart. |

Unfortunately this game might not even be close. Bush will get neutralized by Polamalu who is probably one of the only players in the NFL that I feel can handle the assignment of Bush with no help, and with Brees playing poorly I can't see us winning.

Aaron Smith is done, so your running game might get going. And the way LeBeau has been calling games the last few weeks, I wont be shocked if the score is reversed....although I do see our offense having some success.
Colt McCoy and Chad Henne have looked great against us, so I either see LeBeau really dialing up something crazy, or Brees just tearing us limb by limb.
If LeBeau keeps playing our corners off 10-15 yards, its gonna happen.
I am looking forward to this game, but on the other hand, Im not.
Brees is due for a bounceback week....what better than a home game on Halloween? _________________

this game scares me(lulz Halloween). coming off a loss to the browns, i think the saints are going to be ready to bounce back. this saints team is very very talented, much more so then their 4-3 record. not only that, but i don't like how we match up against them.
i am hoping a full week of practice will help get something going with eason and hood rotating with each other for the injured aaron smith. our run D is going to take a hit either way, even if eason/hood play well, but bush is more of a passing threat at running back and i still don't see them tearing us apart on the ground. if we can just contain the run enough we should be good. the DB's are going to need to step up against brees. also we need keisel and the wood man back playing well. some big plays on D and turnovers when it matters, is key as well.
the biggest thing that we need is our O-line to open some holes, when it matters. if we can run the ball good and ben plays a little better then last game or even about the same(minus the fumbles), we should be in this game. but, the O-line is the key, more then the D-line, imo.
i am predicting whoever wins, is going to do so by around 14 points. its up to the steelers to execute what i mentioned above and up to brees to get back in rhythm(its bound to happen soon, hopefully not this game).
so my final prediction is...
steelers-34
saints-20
this is being a little bit of a homer, just because i think it could go either way. i do however think hood/eason surprise and the oline puts up a better performance then last game. imo, legs was the weak link and the kinda player i think he is, i think he plays his heart out. but that score could easily be switched around.
i am also expecting a few big plays out of harrison, i dunno why. i just got a feeling. maybe even a big game changer!
good luck to the saints though, lets just hope for a good game, with no more injuries to either team! |

That's why us Saints fans are so upset. Deep down inside this 4-3 team (with most of our players from last season) is a team that SHOULD be 6-1 if not 7-0 right now if you look at who we have played so far. But they have gotten lost in the shuffle. Right now, this is not last seasons Cinderella. _________________

I'm just mad as hell that we won't be able to run our trick play "Sepulveda up the middle" for 80 yards!!!!!!
Thanks a lot Cleveland!!!

I don' t feel good about this game at all. The pass D once again has been bad. And where is the pass rush? Unlike the Jets, we can't seem to generate pressure when we need to. _________________ Steelers Fan |

I think we drop this one, and it won't hurt. It's a non conference game. Plus we have key injuries on D. The Steelers will win the following week in Cincy. That's more important. _________________ Steelers Fan |

Well after the Browns GDT and their awesomeness we decided to do the same in ours and I bring you all an offering of peace, and manly oogling.
