Dallas or New Orleans? (who's getting the better deal?)

dallas has 3 pro-bowlers on their o-line, dallas might have the best o-line in the NFL

some dallas fans were talking with some saints fans about the howard trade on saints report.com, and both sides were saying this trade benifts dallas and the saints. their conversation was a little bit more friendly

Dat can stay in Dallas and Howard can stay in NO.
Us true fans of the Saints hate to see Howard being put up on the trading blocks, but we understand reason. His back-up has grown into a starter DE.
Dat is in the same position for Dallas. That means though you hate to see him go, he is expendable for the better of the team.

As far as contract and signing bonuses.... I am sure that Mr. Howard is not reading this forum and making financial decisions based on you.
He has to be financially tough with management. He is the man on the field who is earning that money. Jones ain't earning that money you fans are paying to see your favorite atheletes. If he was asking for something outragous I would see your point. The seahawks screwed you guys by given Wistrom that big signing bonus. Howard is as good if not better and he believes that he should get a similar deal.

We are asking for a 2nd for Howard, and a trade or a 2nd next year.

Now the signing bonus is a different story!!! After Wistrom got that kinda money in Seattle, and JJ handing out 28 million to 3 FA players this month alone. 10 mil for a signing bonus for a CB and another mil for reporting to camp. 11 MIL for a CB, but want give Howard a 16-17 mil bonus.

I don't see this deal getting done until the week of the draft. Maybe not at all, but if it did go thought no matter how the trade worked out... 2nd Round or 1st Rounder both teams would reak the benifits.

Dallas needs a Pass rush DE, Jerry is happy to pay him what he wants

Saints need to unload his Franchice tag and getting a draft pick and possible a player (more likely just a draft pick maybe a 2nd and 5th round pick) would be what the doctor ordered

I still say this deal has a 50/50 chance of happening, now that the NFL meetings in Hawaii are over parhapes there will be some movement on this deal.

Rumor has it that Howards is on the trading block and for only a 2nd rounder. What about the Chiefs 46th pick overall and a 5th rd. It's a decent pick and the Chiefs neeeeedddd some major defensive help. I agree Howards worth more then a 2nd rounder unfortunately that can happen but don't trade him for someone in you own conference. What are the chances a trade like this with the Chiefs would come back to haunt you???

I don't think it matters who we trade him to as ong as they aren't in our division, i really don't want him to go to the Cowboys (because they have [inappropriate/removed] bag fans) but i really don't care as long as we get somewhere near his value.

See what I mean 70% of their fans are [inappropriate/removed] bags, and they seem to believe this is 1995 and they still have a good team, ummmm... that was ten years ago and Aikman ain't coming back Gowgirl's fans (although Bledsoe is about the same age). The fans who are a-holes make the 30% look bad.
