I agree with Gangreen although I say I would make the trade of 31,35,63 and the Eagles 4th for 6 overall.
Only if Johnson, Edwards or Mike Williams is there. Preferably Edwards. _________________

Call me stingy, but giving 4 first day draft picks is a lot. That can be the future, imagine if the birds gave up 4 picks the in 2002 to move up. For example; they might end up with Julius Pepper that year, but would lose out on Sheppard, Brown, Lewis, and Westbrook. It's a tough call but giving 4 first day pick in one year is a lot. |

Hey ninjapirate,
You said,
"This is one of the worst drafts in quite a while to trade up in, the players at 31 and 35 will be just as talented as anyone the combination of those picks could move us up to get. This is a solid depth draft with no big names, I could see the Eagles say after using the 31st and 35th moving up from their second pick in the second for a player they want."
Stop it already.......... you are looking bad changing all the time !

I still don't want the Eagles to trade up, but the current topic is if the Eagles traded up to the 6th overall. I said I would want Edwards, Johnson, or Mike Williams. Arguably the 3 best players in the draft. I think your just being anal.
Also 31 and 35 wouldn't get you the 6th.
I'm flattered though that you remember everything I say. I'm really touched. Although you really should pay more attention to things that matter like your life(assuming you have one) not what some kid says on a Message Board you happen to go to as well. _________________

I think I'm with hype4bid here.
31, 35, 63, 94, 132 was one of the original suggestions.
Possibilities at
31: Tuck, Baas, Roth, Clayton
35: Castillo, Terry, Pool, Blackstock, Alex Smith (TE)
63: Fason, Arrington, Morency, Mankins
94: Atogwe, ...
132: ...
Alright, I'm tired of looking at more names. Regardless, it seems pretty hard to rationalize trading 5 guys for one. Maybe I'm starting to lose perspective as to how good any of these guys will be, but this is a draft that can secure our future for a number of years.
I could go as far as 31, 35, 77 for Edwards or Williams, and even be willing to throw in Freddie Mitchell and a box of cookies. Not sure I could stomach starting with 5 first day picks and ending up with 2. |

Hey SIERK,
Your right !
The Eagles have 6 picks in the 31, 35, 63, 77, 94, 132
and I think they use them to move up as needed but still
have 4 picks in the 1st day. Hope they get better quality.
Then they still have on the 2nd day 146 [5], 167 [5],
172 [5], 211 [6], 245 [7], 247 [7], 252 [7]
They can use the two 5 rounders to move up if needed.
But they have min five 2nd day picks. |

I would do that deal SIREK just said, I dunno about the Cookies though but they could split it with that weak Tennessee O-line and get them stronger. _________________ Second Mock of 2011 |

Giving up all of the eagles first day draft picks is alot and MAY put the eagles future in jeoprady, but if they can get Braylon Edwards or Mike Williams, then that is like having two T.O.'s around for mcnabb, which would be absolutly amazing. Eagles are in no need at any position right now and are looking to win a super bowl. So i say [inappropriate/removed] the future and just get players who will win you super bowl 40. _________________

The Eagles DO NOT need a #1 WR they have this guy i think his name is TO and hes pretty good. To give up 4 first day picks for a #3 WR is just stupit. i would not give up anything more then a 31 and 63 for a reciever and definiatly not for williams. The eagles want a sprinter to play opposite Owens. Williams is way to slow for that thus he would max out at #3 on the eagles WR depth chart. i would be just fine with the eagles entering the season with TO, greg lewis, Draft pick, pinkston. |
