we usualy draft someone to backup old players so on that i think we will draft a fs with are first or early second

I have heard rumours that the eagles were interested in marlin jackson with the first pick. He is a cornerback, but might be moved to safety.

A michigan fan/draftnik I talk with says Marlin gets knicked up to much at FS and is better suited to play corner. Besides Marlin there are only alot of SS. So I can't see FS happening early. Maybe James Butler in the 3rd or 4th.

Also don't forget Matt Ware can play FS.

Hart was released in week 2.

Where didya hear aboot Marlin and our interest in him.

By most accouts, inlcuding unnamed sources within the club cited by philly.com and others, Reed or Ware are suppose to take over for Brian within the next couple of years. With Reed's injury they'll probably draft someone in the 3rd-5th round depending on whos available (that's why Philly is so hard to mock draft for because they have no immediate needs its all based on who they think is the BPA and who they see leaving -- Hollis? Freddie? so many ways they can go)
